USGI GOALKEEPER CHALLENGE

OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

1. CHALLENGE PERIOD

The U.S. Goalkeeping Institute Goalkeeper Challenge (“Challenge”) begins November 23, 2026 and concludes May 1, 2027.

Only answers submitted during the Challenge period and in accordance with the instructions provided by USGI will count toward a participant’s Challenge total.

2. ELIGIBILITY

The Challenge is open to goalkeepers ages 12–18 who reside in the United States.

Participants under the age of 18 must have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to participate.

No purchase or USGI membership is required to enter or win.

3. REGISTRATION

Participants must register for the Challenge through the official U.S. Goalkeeping Institute registration form.

Registration information must be accurate and complete. Each participant may register only once.

For participants under 18, a parent or legal guardian must accept these Official Rules and consent to the goalkeeper’s participation.

4. HOW THE CHALLENGE WORKS

Throughout the Challenge, USGI will release goalkeeper situations, video clips, questions, or other goalkeeper-related challenges.

Participants will submit their answers according to the instructions provided with each Challenge.

Each correctly answered Challenge will count toward the participant’s overall total.

USGI will determine the correct answer for each Challenge based on the goalkeeper situation presented and the criteria established for that Challenge.

5. DETERMINING THE WINNER

At the conclusion of the Challenge, the eligible participant with the highest total number of correct answers will be declared the potential Grand Prize winner, subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules.

If two or more participants finish with the same highest number of correct answers, the winner will be determined through a random drawing among the tied participants.

USGI’s records of submitted answers and correct responses will be used to determine the final standings.

6. GRAND PRIZE

The Grand Prize winner will receive a European Goalkeeper Camp Experience.

The prize includes:

• Goalkeeper camp fee
• Hotel accommodations associated with the camp experience
• $300 food voucher

The winner may select a qualifying goalkeeper camp experience in England, Italy, the Netherlands, or Spain, subject to availability and approval by USGI.

Airfare, travel, and ground transportation are not included.

Any expenses not specifically identified as part of the prize are the responsibility of the winner and/or the winner’s parent or legal guardian.

The prize has no cash alternative and may not be exchanged for cash.

7. MINOR WINNERS AND INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL

If the Grand Prize winner is under 18, the winner must have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to accept the prize.

A parent or legal guardian must accompany a minor winner during international travel and the European camp experience.

The winner and accompanying parent or legal guardian are responsible for obtaining all required passports, travel documents, permissions, insurance, and other documentation necessary for international travel.

Expenses incurred by the accompanying parent or legal guardian are not included unless expressly stated by USGI.

8. WINNER VERIFICATION

Before receiving the prize, the potential winner may be required to provide documentation confirming age, identity, U.S. residency, and eligibility.

For a minor winner, USGI may require the winner’s parent or legal guardian to sign appropriate eligibility, consent, liability, travel, and prize-acceptance documentation.

If a potential winner cannot establish eligibility, declines the prize, fails to respond within the timeframe provided by USGI, or cannot satisfy the requirements necessary to accept the prize, USGI may award the prize to the next eligible participant based on the final Challenge results.

9. FAIR PARTICIPATION

Participants must submit their own entries and may not manipulate, automate, falsify, or otherwise interfere with the Challenge or its scoring.

USGI reserves the right to disqualify a participant for fraud, cheating, manipulation, providing false information, interfering with the operation of the Challenge, or violating these Official Rules.

10. CHALLENGE CHANGES OR CANCELLATION

USGI reserves the right to modify, suspend, postpone, or cancel the Challenge if circumstances outside its reasonable control prevent the Challenge from being conducted fairly or as intended.

If a goalkeeper camp becomes unavailable, USGI may work with the winner to select another qualifying camp or a reasonably comparable goalkeeper-development experience.

11. PUBLICITY AND CONTENT

Participation in the Challenge does not automatically grant USGI unrestricted ownership of a participant’s name, image, likeness, photographs, or video.

If USGI wishes to feature a minor participant publicly or use participant-submitted media for promotional purposes, parent or legal guardian permission may be required before such use.

12. RELEASE AND RESPONSIBILITY

To the extent permitted by law, participants and their parents or legal guardians acknowledge that international travel and participation in athletic activities involve inherent risks.

USGI is not responsible for travel arrangements or expenses that are not expressly included in the Grand Prize.

Additional waivers, releases, or participation documents required by the selected goalkeeper camp may apply.

13. SPONSOR

The Challenge is sponsored and administered by:
